Another senseless tradgedy bleeds its way across various electronic screens,
leaving out, of course, all the actual terror and resulting screams.
Many people repeat that tired old adage "it is not the gun's fault"
but that is much like throwing onto open wounds worn out, flavorless salt.
Others cry out that something must be done, anything,
and most just hide in their houses shocked and maybe mourning
but unsure of what to do, how to proceed.
All that is clear is that there is definitely a need
to find some way to stop the killing.
The mindless, senseless killing.
Is the killing inhuman or is it the essence of humanity?
Somewhere in there is the beginning of an answer to this insanity...
